On October 29, just two days before my 10th wedding anniversary, I received the call I had been dreading from my doctor. My test results came back positive for uterine cancer. I was devastated. I had already beaten cancer nearly 20 years ago, when I was 17. I knew what I was in for and I was more terrified than you could imagine. After many visits to a specialist and a complete hysterectomy, I am on the mend. But, now the medical bills are starting to come in. I've got a long road ahead of me and can't afford to do it on my own. So, here I am, selling my most prized possessions to pay off my debt. The money I am trying to raise will only go to pay for my hospital, doctor, insurance and pharmacy bills.
