The Terror

I would like to get a response from the band, if at all possible. I want to congratulate all five of you on making another great album. I don't mean that lightly either. I commend your accomplishment of making an album more void of joy than your previous work and truly sad. Sonically you guys are on par with Dr. Dre and despite the fantastical nature of the lyrics, there is real depth here, especially sadness. Musically, I am always impressed with your ability to compose something within my own listening grasp, while constantly stirring my imagination. The album flows perfectly, much like Embryonic (my personal favorite album of yours) yet The Terror seems more personal. I think I understand why you dubbed it the best Flaming Lips record to date, it is complete. It isn't lacking anything. It's clean, it's messy, it's dark, it's bright, it's deep, it's soft, it's beautiful. To the scientists and orchestrators of neo-psychadelic and indie rock, I salute you on one of your most accessible pieces of work to date. thank you for your dedication.
