Wayne Coyne: a dog in a headdress? Really?

(observer)
I've always been a huge fan of the Flaming Lips, and somehow I've always liken their music to something that supersedes the average alt-rock industry churn. And I don't think it's fair to hold media-made icons to some imagined or superhuman standard. However, I cannot help but be deeply disappointed by Wayne Coyne and his racism towards Native Americans. To support Pink Pony is to align the Flaming Lips with racism in America today. A picture of a dog in a headdress is racist - that's it. This picture promotes racism in American. And it is shameful and depressing.

That's what did it for me. So disappointed. Flaming Lips have been my #1 for the last 10+ years. Just can't hang with this..

Wayne needs to pull his egotistical inflated head out of his own asshole. Without Scott this band would have been dead a long time ago, Gibby from the Surfers said it himself on the Lips own documentary. Wayne seems to have lost touch with himself and worse yet his own band members and if that appears to be the case, then you know he has lost his way from his fans also. I only wonder how he can make a decision to fire a band member without the consent from the other members as well. Sounds like he has turned into some Hitler-type pussy. The band's name is the Flaming Lips, not Wayne Coyne's Flaming Lips which would probably suck balls anyway. The rest of the guys in the band need to smack the shit out of this turd and force him to play nice with others before he fucks up the rest of the band. I'm considering selling all of my Lips music I own and I own everything they have produced. I'm just really disappointed with them all.
