Wayne - you've not only been a creative and musical influence on me since the release of "In a Priest Driven Ambulance", but you also serve as somewhat of a spiritual adviser to many of us. Now, before you jump to "you put too much on me, man", you've very much positioned yourself in this role for at least 10-15 years now. Your insights into how the universe works, the existence (or non-existence) of love, overcoming the "wizards", etc. have all been headed down this road. I could personally give a shit who is in or out of the band,. We all got over Ronald, right? But, this lack of cultural sensitivity towards the indigenous population that our proud ancestors all but wiped off the map (who also define proto-mysticism in this country and would serve to inspire your work whether you know it or not) is a real disappointment, In some ways it is easier to fathom listening to Charles Manson's music than try to face my vinyl copy of 7 SKIES H3 because he's a known asshole and psycho, whereas this shit with you seems to come out of nowhere. And this alliance with the mayor appears to indicate you're with the Wizards now. So much for the W.A.N.D., eh? I know you really owe us all nothing at all in this life. But please know that the this new-found persona of yours (drugs and dickery, apparently) flies in the face of the guy we thought we "knew". That's the guy you wanted us to "know" with countless hours of face time via interviews, music lyrics, and personal messages to the fans through your liner notes. I just lost my mother exactly 4 weeks ago, and I took solace in the Soft Bulletin, knowing what influenced it and what was going on in your life at the time with your own loss. Wayne, we miss that guy. I'm afraid that your life choices have removed any sort of trusted voice of a friend who can take you aside and say "you are fucking up". So, that's all I had to say. Thanks for the decades of love and positive vibes. As I said goodbye to mom, I closed one chapter in my life and started another one. I'm really hoping that new chapter can still include a place for you, but this is questionable based on all the shit I just laid down. Take care, and good luck.

I'm soo PISSED OFF I've loved you lips for years for the same reasons as all the other lips fans.

To see Wayne grow this huge fucking arrogant ego is such a bummer.

I was really looking forward to seeing the band when they come to the UK, not sure I want to anymore.

GET A GRIP WAYNE BEFOR ITS TOO LATE!
