Soft Bulletin Tracklisting

Hey guys I'm sure this has been discussed a billion jillion times here, but I'm really interested to know. I recently picked up the Soft Bulletin 5.1, and have been told this is the tracklist order that the Lips intended the cd to be listened to in. I was curious, with this release, does the cd end with Sleeping on the Roof, with spiderbite and buggin as bonus tracks, or does the cd actually end on Buggin? The vinyl has a different tracklist, so if someone can clarify the master tracklist, it would be much appreciated

Steven Drozd talks about the various track list orders in this recent documentary about "Soft Bulletin" on the Pitchfork site. Doesn't directly address, the 5.1 question, but Steven says some interesting things about the track lists.

Hmmm, to add to the question, the live anniversary version of "Soft Bulletin" from last year is only 10 tracks, leaving off "Slow Motion" and "Buggin" and merging "Light" and "Observer" into one track:
Race for the Prize
A Spoonful Weighs a Ton
The Spark That Bled
The Spiderbite Song
What is the Light?/The Observer
Waitin’ for a Superman
Suddenly Everything Has Changed
The Gash
Feeling Yourself Disintegrate
Sleeping on the Roof
It seems to make sense for it to "officially" end with "Sleeping on the Roof." The band so often ends its albums with an instrumental. That 5.1 track order does kinda rock, though.

to further expand upon what Randall was saying about Steve's tracklist from Pitchfork's Soft Bulletin doc his tracklist included "Slow Motion" which was left out of the US release. He didn't specify where it should go but Pitchfork put it at track 4. All of the songs Steve thought should be included are on the 1.5 release.
Personally I think the track order on the original US release flowed perfectly. I would put "Slow Motion" between "Suddenly Everything Has Changed" & "The Gash" so my "perfect" list would look like this...
1. Race For The Prize
2. A Spoonful Weighs a Ton
3. The Spark That Bled
4. The Spiderbite Song
5. Buggin'
6. What is the Light?
7. The Observer
8. Waitin’ for a Superman
9. Suddenly Everything Has Changed
10. Slow Motion
11. The Gash
12. Feeling Yourself Disintegrate
13. Sleeping on the Roof
But in this digital age nothing's set in stone. Experiment for yourself. Rearrange it to suit your mood.

Sorry, but to me, "The Soft Bulletin" ending with "Sleeping On the Roof" feels like "In a Priest Driven Ambulance" ending with "There You Are." I think it's good that "Race For the Prize" and "Waiting For a Superman" were reprised at the end.
