NYE Concert

I just wanted to post my disappointment at the price of concerts for NYE. These concerts have become a tradition for my family since they began and have become something that we really look forward to attending. At 100 a ticket its just impossible to attend as a family like we normally do and its a shame because its the end of a family tradition. We are still loving lips fans.....just won't get to see them this year.

i was also disappointed by the increase in price, i assume it has to do with the change of venue. i will be attending the show with the same group i have been the past few years. I am greatly looking forward to it and i am sure it will be worth the cost. it has always been a real unique pleasure and beautiful experience to see the flaming lips and i'm sure it will be again.

My boyfriend and I have two extra tickets for the NYE show. Our friends who were going to be coming cancelled on us. If you anyone is interested, we are willing to take any reasonable offer - including trades :)

I really want to get my hands on a good recording of their version of Sweet Leaf.
I think them playing that while Wayne is still in the bubble is SLAMMIN! It was definitely my favorite part of the set(s).
