Saw them playing at the L2 in about 1998/99 supporting Mercury Rev. It was just before The Soft Bulletin came out. Pretty sure it was broadcast live on Radio 1 (can you imagine such a thing?!) I definitelty remember standing next to John Peel watching it all.
