Artist and educator. I've seen the Lips 8 times over the last 2 years since moving to Austin. Proximity was key! I always enjoyed their music but was living in a state in which a Lips siting was a rarity. When found out they were playing in Mesa, AZ for a charity music festival years ago, I talked a small group of non-Lip knowers and understanders to drive from Tucson to Mesa to see them. From that moment I was hooked. So now I live in Austin and truly consider myself an Austin lucky girl!
